I have no doubt you are familiar with the fan and sprinkle maneuver, students. After all, there have been numerous pamphlets published on the subject.
This is the most beautiful horse in the world…
all women were bigger and stronger than you
and thought they were smarter
women were the ones who started wars
too many of your friends had been raped by women wielding giant dildos
and no K-Y Jelly
the state trooper
who pulled you over on the New Jersey Turnpike
was a woman
and carried a gun
the ability to menstruate
was the prerequisite for most high-paying jobs
your attractiveness to women depended
on the size of your penis
every time women saw you
they’d hoot and make jerking motions with their hands
women were always making jokes
about how ugly penises are
and how bad sperm tastes
you had to explain what’s wrong with your car
to big sweaty women with greasy hands
who stared at your crotch
in a garage where you are surrounded
by posters of naked men with hard-ons
men’s magazines featured cover photos
of 14-year-old boys
tucked into the front of their jeans
and articles like:
“How to tell if your wife is unfaithful”
“What your doctor won’t tell you about your prostate”
“The truth about impotence”
the doctor who examined your prostate
was a woman
and called you “Honey”
you had to inhale your boss’s stale cigar breath
as she insisted that sleeping with her
was part of the job
you couldn’t get away because
the company dress code required
you wear shoes
designed to keep you from running
And what if
after all that
women still wanted you
to love them.
the animators for this movie had a snowflake generator so that every single snowflake in the movie was different and if you don’t think that’s really punk rock idk what to tell u
shame they couldn’t do that with women’s faces
Aside from the fact that there are many subtle differences between the characters’ faces (as well as the other female characters used in previous movies with this program), let’s not forget that this is an animation program in its infancy, and that it’s very common for female characters designed with the same basic face while techniques or programs are being improved upon or developed (Anita from 101 Dalmations and Aurora, Belle and Ariel).
I really need to add in your own tag here.
I also reeeeeally need to add in that you are referring to the same company that also designed this cast of characters.
Because for you to even HOPE to be a Disney animator you have to learn a basic understanding of human anatomy and draw various types of bodies. You don’t sit there and draw skinny, generic good-looking people. No. They bring in old, young, fat, and skinny so you can learn how fat hangs, how muscles work, and how to stretch the limits of your own character designs.
Every animator needs to know this.
But okay, technology changes and you have to make due with it. Pixar had to use toys for their first feature length film simply because they weren’t able to make humans look like anything other than creepy mannequins. So let’s look at a set of characters that the SAME company has produced LAST year.
For a program in it’s “infancy” so you called it, it sure can produce a wide range of characters with varying proportions and styles!
Oh and hey! Despite them being from THE SAME GAME all the Sugar Rush racers have different clothing themes, different color schemes, different skin tones and, the craziest of it all, different faces.
Also, lemme point out another thing in your post;
"it’s very common for female characters designed with the same basic face while techniques or programs are being improved upon or developed”
For one you are implying that skinny, white, and pretty are the norm of the gender and the basic building blocks of character design.
For another thing, you add in FEMALE and manage to get to the root of the problem. It’s FEMALE characters that get this treatment. Yes, you do have male characters that share similar features like Prince Eric, Prince Charming, and Prince Phillip, but over the years they have evolved into having different facial structures, body types, and are NEVER strictly tied to being princes.
Females don’t get that same freedom. They are seldom a main character and if they are, it’s more than likely due to the fact that they are, or will become, a princess.
Hell, the whole reason Tangled and Frozen got those asinine titles was because HEAVEN FORBID it be implied that a female character is the star of the film. Meanwhile Aladdin and Wreck-It Ralph get their name right up over everything.
I’m not commenting on these films or on their animation quality. I’m only saying that Disney can treat their female characters MUCH MUCH better than they currently do. Maybe someday they will treat them as well as their male characters but I’ll leave that up to the dreamers.
So, again, let me close with

Can we just stop and appreciate Nicki Minaj’s face for a moment. She looks genuinely very concerned for Josh here, like she thinks he was actually in an arena full of kids trying to kill him, and is confused as to why no one else finds this as shocking as she does.
What do you expect? People from the Capitol just don’t understand.
